Suzukiya-Rihei is an old store which has continued for about 200 years since the Edo era.This store deals in the"shikki"so-called the lacquerware which is a traditional industry of Aizu and Japan too,and some folkcrafts of this area.

Some of the original goods of this store have been awarded a prize of an international exhibition of Paris or Colombia.The specialty is the cup of wine,the candy box and so on.

There is a little museum in the back of the store.The collection a lot of old lacquerwares of mainly Aizu area,and also Thai or Nepal's some precious materials which tell of the root of the "shikki"are displayed there.

200年以来、今にその土蔵を残す。店内では伝統の会津漆器をはじめ、民芸品も販売している。

店舗 奥座敷は、会津民芸館「漆乃舎」として漆器の古い 資料を展示している。数百年の歴史を持つ会津漆器の中に「会津絵」と呼ばれる一連の漆器がある。戊辰戦争の後武家文化の解体と共に幻となったが、当店で復元。

ワインカップ、菓子皿、椀等、数多い製品を生み出している。その他、実用的なオリジナル漆器を取り揃えている。
